Complaint: Stephens Honda offered me a 2014 Honda Civic at 72 months with Gap insurance for $315.00 per month. On Saturday, May 24th, it was agreed that if my former car was declared "totaled" as a result of an accident we had on 5-21, that I could purchase it at that price for sure. I told them on May 30th the car had been declared totaled, and I would like to go ahead and purchase the car at $315.oo per month as agreed. When he ran the credit on the 30th, Honda Finance came back and told me it would be $350,00 a month. They also kept the $2.00 down payment I gave ***** ****, salesman, on the car. (to hold the blue car in particular) I know it wasn't a large down payment, but they never refunded it to me.

Desired Settlement: They should have made good on the original deal they offered me, at $315.oo per month as agreed. I feel ripped off and I do not think I will ever visit another Honda dealership ever again.

Steps in Servicing Mr. ******

1. Meet Customer, showed interest in the 14' Civic

2. Demonstrated car and offered testdrive.

3. Vehicle was for wife. Offered customer opportunity to drive vehicle to show wife.  customer made 2 trips to confirm color.

4. At returned customer was very interested in car.  However had to finalize everything w/ insurance company beofre finalizing deal. (involved in acceident vehicle totalled)

5. Negoitiated deal however customer stated having very good credit and did not want us to process credit to get exact rates and payments.

6. Returned to put deal together however wasn't ready for delivery due to insurance not being finalize.  Ask for earnest deposti.  Custoemr offer 2 dollars to hold car.

7. Offered custoemr opportunity to start paperwork which included credit application.  He agreed, however would not wait for result of credit processing.

8. UPon credit discovery dealership contacted customer to discuss payment change to $235.00 per mo. Over the phone custmer cursed myself and hung up phone.

9. Several call attempts were made.  1 return call with profanity laced words stating that we wer crooks.

10. Returned 2 dollars to customer in a form of a check.
