            I purchased an excursion package for my Alaskan cruise in September, 2023. During the cruise my wife and I both got sick and we were not able to attend the "Best of Juneau" excursion that we paid $456 dollars for. We also had purchased the excursion protection plan with our overall package total of $1,192.00 that was charged to my credit card on April 30th, 2023. We followed all the instructions in regards to not being able to attend the excursion because of our illness and have repeatedly contacted guest relations and our travel agent since we returned at the end of September from our cruise. Still no word from Vacations to Go about getting my $456 dollars back. I won't go into all the issues our entire family experienced while on the cruise, but just want someone to respond to our request. You took my money months in advance but no word to receive my reimbursement (10) weeks and counting.

            They sent me one price and when I was ready to book (24 hours later) they raised the price

            Dear Lester, We're sorry that you missed out on a deal that you were interested in. All pricing is set by the cruise line and sent to us electronically, in most cases at least once a day. Prices, cabin availability and promotions fluctuate often and the only way to lock in a rate or cabin is to place it on a complimentary, no-obligation hold. The manager you spoke with investigated your concerns and found that our site was displaying the price of a category F cabin, which sold out before you attempted to book your cruise. Because our site does not reflect live inventory, the next price update from the cruise line included pricing for the next available cabin, a category E. We’re sorry again for the disappointment you experienced, but can assure you that we are not being dishonest or deceitful in any way. If there’s another cruise we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
