Allied Home Warranty is a residential service company that offers home warranty contracts to residential properties. Coverage is not limitless. Some major replacements may require out-of-pocket expenses because the regulatory and trade license requirements for these systems are stringent, especially with air conditioning, heating and plumbing. Not everything in the home is covered, so consumers should read their contract for details.

Is there a service fee due when a claim is made? Yes, a $60 service fee is due for each claim, however emergency fees and/or after-hour fees are excluded from coverage.
Will Allied repair or replace my system or appliance if they quit working? Allied will evaluate each claim individually and will make a reasonable effort to assist the customer with their preference to repair or replace, only if a choice is available. In the event a repair is not recommended or is not a good long term fix, Allied will authorize replacement, excluding the non- covered items.
Will I be reimbursed if a repair is made without contacting Allied? No, Allied will not reimburse you for work performed without Allied’s prior written consent.
Can I determine the amount of a cash offer if my appliance cannot be repaired? No. Allied, at its option, may offer cash in the amount of Allied’s estimated cost, instead of repair or replacement. Allied’s cash offer is based on a system or appliance with similar features, capacity and efficiency, but is not responsible for matching dimensions, brand or color.
What does “pre-existing” mean? It's a malfunction of a system or appliance that existed before the coverage period began and was detectable by visual inspection or a simple test.
Are code violations or code requirements covered? No, not unless additional coverage has been purchased. Will the warranty cover Access charges? No, not unless additional coverage has been purchased.
