Complaint: I ordered wallpaper from this company online. I had never done business with them before. When I submitted my order, I put in the special instructions box PLEASE DELIVER BEFORE NOON. They do not offer a choice of delivery methods or carrier. They don't even tell you which shipping company they use. When I got my ship notification email I saw the *** tracking number. I know *** delivers in my neighborhood during the evening. I work from 1pm to 10pm. Sometimes later. But I thought they would honor my instructions. I tracked the package from work one evening and saw that it had been delivered. I could not reach my neighbor to get if off the porch for me. There's a lot of foot traffic on my street. People are always walking past my house. That's why I wanted the package delivered before I went to work. I got home about 11pm that night. No package was on the porch. I called Total Wallcovering. The young lady said they would have to do an investigation and it would take a couple of weeks. *** called me and discussed the matter a day or so later. Total Wallcovering neither emailed or called. When I called them, the female who answered was totally irritated with me. It has been over a month now. They won't even answer my calls or return my messages. I have no wallpaper and I'm out of $53.73!
Desired Settlement: I would either like a refund or the wallpaper delivered before noon as requested. I'm not hard to get along with. I just don't like to be treated unfairly. My order number is *****.
*** verified that the merchandise ordered by this individual was in fact delivered to his house. He alleges he did not get it. I have issued a full refund in the amount of $53.73, the original charge amount. He now has the merchandise and a full refund. *** will not issue us a credit because they actually delivered the package. There was never a denial of a refund, we were just waiting for *** to verify delivery and tell us what they would do if anything and he was made aware of this from the beginning.
*** of Authorize refund issued is also attached. I think Authorize also sends him a notice too. From my end, issue is resolved as it always would have been.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *******, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I waited until I saw the credit made to my credit card account. However, the business stated that I have the product and the refund. I only have the refund now. Otherwise I wouldn't have called them in the first place. I wish them well. I won't order anything from them again.
