              We sold our home at **** ******* ***** ** ****** ******* ** on 12/28/23. They picked up our containers on 12/29/23, then after that they charged us for another quarter. I called and they say they are working on my refund , It's been almost 3 months, I'm tired of having to call and be put on hold and get no where. I WANT my refund.

              Price for 4-yard dumpster increased from $295 in January 2024 to $362 in February 2024. February invoice came with message "Your consent will be deemed to occur upon payment of the new service rate. If you do not consent to the increase, you have the right to terminate the service agreement within 30 days." Automatic monthly payment is set up with Waste Management, and rate increase was not noticed until after 30-day termination period passed. There was no consent to the rate increase. Attempt was made to discontinue service with Waste Management in March 2024. Waste Management said that notice for discontinuation was not given 60-120 days before May 6 renewal date, so service could not be discontinued without paying penalty of 6 months service rate. Poor practice by Waste Management to increase service rate during 60-day period when customer can notify them of discontinuation without penalty.
