              United Recovery Systems and some other collection agency keep calling my phone saying I owe them money for 2000 Dodge Intrepid. The car in question has been paid for or trading in. No money is owed. Its been over 15 years. I have had 3 or 4 car loans since then. I dont know why they are calling me. They call harrassing and threating me with law suits. Being rude and disrespectful when I tell them, I dont owe them any money.

              I just got a text message saying This is Carol  from the mediation department its imperative that you contact my office at **********. So I called the number. NOT IN SERVICE. so I called the number that it came from. Woman answered. stated they are in the process of bank lien. freeze and garnishment. lol. I asked for what then they give me a huge number for a loan on a vehicle that was taken out in 2007... FIRST of all. I live in Texas. that car was repossessed back in 2009.... I had already paid off this debt in 2016 through a payment plan with another debt collection office. But even still.. I LIVE IN TEXAS. litigation time frame here is 4 years from last payment. and we don't wage garnish in this state. so they have broken the ***** law several time. I have 10 years of working in the debt collection world. I always record my calls and so Not only was I nice. but I also sent them my PIF letter I received back in 2016. I saved the call and have submitted it to the **** for investigation as this is a predatory agency. They claim to do all these illegal things when they cant. I cant be sued for this and you dang sure cant wage garnish me either so all that was just violation after violation. I also have on the recording that once the attach my P IF they cant sell my account to anyone else so when someone else calls me from another agency which always happens it will just add another violation which I'm entitled to 1K each violation. Reg F in ***** was violated in many ways. I have filed every single predatory agency that threatens me and I will win this one as well. This company uses scare tactics and lies in order to collect on dead debt. Be advised I will be pursuing this company and I have allllll the evidence to support this claim.
