HAWAII’S BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ANNOUNCES 2014 BBB TORCH AWARDS FINALISTS
HONOLULU – Hawaii’s Better Business Bureau® (BBB), the leader in advancing marketplace trust, has announced the finalists of its 2014 BBB Torch Awards program.
“The BBB Torch Awards program celebrates businesses and public charities that demonstrate and maintain solid commitment to high standards for trust and accountability,” said Gregory. D. Dunn, chief executive officer of Hawaii’s BBB. “This year’s finalists reflect our mission as leaders in advancing trust in Hawaii’s marketplace. We honor their business acumen and dedicated efforts towards creating a marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other.”
Representatives of past BBB Torch Award recipients judged the entries and selected the finalists. The 2014 BBB Torch Awards finalists are:
Winners will be announced at the 2014 BBB Torch Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, April 30 at the Sheraton Waikiki. BBB will also announce the recipients of their Public Charity and Keauhou Award.
Keynote speaker, Norbert Bajurin, Commodore of the Golden Gate Yacht Club will share his journey of how an everyday guy formed an unlikely partnership with Larry Ellison to win the America’s Cup. His story is a real life example of not giving up on one’s dreams and persevering through the ups and downs of business and life. The America’s Cup will be on display throughout the event.
