Problems with Product/Service

Complaint: Unresponsive; no emails or calls on military time constraint They bounced responsibilities between associates and delayed processing the application. Seeing reviews on****.com we came in with an open mind, but felt so betrayed after the unresponsiveness they portrayed throughout the process. We had a short window to look for a place since we were paying out of pocket for lodging at MCBH while checking into the new command. They only gave a couple weeks for the house search process which required extensive documentation of where, when and why, and this place took an eternity by just taking our money and doing nothing. We are both enraged at the time to process and treatment we were given in attempting to rent. Absolutely no respect whatsoever for the military regardless of their false advertisement of military friendly associates. We called seeing an ad in Kaneohe and was referred to their renting associates. We met up with ***** for the showing of the unit in***********, and was given the application and instruction to turn in the application (pay stub and ID) which he claimed would take a couple days. Days turned into, 2 weeks where we have passed up numerous offers from various military approved establishments, and always pre-approved due to our military status. After the showing, we came to the office that same day with all our paperwork, IDs, and application fee ($40 total money order). We emailed ***** our command's contact information and LES (military pay statements) which they argued was inadequate and they eventually accepted after another copy. Since then, we called daily leaving messages and emailing them and were repeatedly asked for numerous forms which displayed the same information on previous rent history that had already displayed in the application, and credit histories that they were unable to obtain themselves. Understandably, the original person, Kevin, supposedly in charge of the unit was out of town for his son's baseball tournament, and we were told via email that Troy and Allan would be processing the application. They bounced us back and forth between the two of three (Troy, Allan, and ***** although we only dealt with Allan and ***** who were all CCed in the emails) where ***** saying that Allan is more than capable of processing our application, but then Allan kept stating to wait on ***** to come back or needed more information. We were the one constantly calling in to make the calls, emails, and had to pull our own credit history showing no late payments when it only took less than 24 hours and $0 for other places we've applied due to being in the military for having a permanent place of an employment and good standing renting history which we also had to pull ourselves. I don't know how we let it go on for nearly 2 weeks and still not getting anywhere after scanning and faxing OUR LIVES to them. More rental offers have come and go and they still didn't have the decency to respond to emails or call us back. Worst of all... An ad for the apartment was finally posted on Craigslist 2 days before ***** supposedly was supposed to come back to the office in spite of our application. Patience is truly a virtue with these people. It truly was a waste of our time and money.
Desired Settlement: This has already been an unnecessarily, long and stressful process. We request a refund of our applications and the shredding of scanned documents of our photo IDs, permanent deletion of our emails, so that we may no longer worry of our association with this business.
