Complaint: Hotel service does not meet expectations. Internet service is pitiful. We are unable to work from hotel room. Ice machines are broken. Key cards continually do not work. When we complained about these issues we were told, "there's nothing we can do about it". On top of this, we were charged for a wash cloth that they could not get clean. Personally, I did not even see discoloration. The charge is five dollars. We are extremely frustrated with paying for normal usage when every other hotel provides these basic services. Especially, given that the US government has already paid $12,000 for us to stay here. It is obvious that IHG Schoffield does not care about the customer(soldiers and their families).

Desired Settlement: I want my five dollars back and I want them to raise their standard of service.

Business Response: In response to the complaint from **** ****** 8/31/2015

The ****** family stayed with the Inn at Schofield for 47 days 7/20/15-9/4/15, where there was free internet in their rooms. At the time they were here, the Inn at Schofield was in process of and the upgrade on our internet service which then was disrupted with bad weather. The key cards for the doors were not working on a continuous base, because our server was hit by lighting, which knock out our system. This causes issues across the board for the hotel. Our IT department was working attentively to get the system back up and running. Under the ******** Food Service regulation the Ice Machines are now considered a food items and would have to be handle accordingly. The Ice Machines were not broken they were unplugged  in preparation for removal.
