    In Oct 2017, I contacted Van's Electrical to rewire my house. Van suggested installing a battery ** system as well, to which I accepted and paid a down payment of 25K.Multiple problems occur-1) 2/22/2018 An additional charge of 17K because my wires were "old and a fire hazard"2) Mar 2018 ** system turned on. I pd 20K for completion. 3) 6/28/2018 Complaint from the school next door that there was arcing in the metal fence to the adjacent tennis courts, which started when ** system put in. Van said faulty equipment. School said faulty grounding.4) 7/24/2018 The electrical company (HECO) comes to my front door and says the ** system needs to be shut down due to lack of permit 5) 8/18/2018 ** system restarted .Van says "we are completely on battery now" but I find out that on 8/27/2018 **** said no permit request was received 6) 3/8/19 goes live. Subsequent problems- power going off,system needing to be reset. inverter phase loss, eventually, system starts going back to the electrical power almost daily for **** hrs.7) In addressing my concerns, Van claims problems with the weather,the hot water heater, the stove top,the car charger,and phantom surges in power.8) I finally call the equipment tech support and learn that manufacture guidelines require 10 batteries not just the 5 which have been installed. The warranty is voided. 9) After an unsuccessful attempt to rewire the system, and my continued problems, *** agrees to install additional batteries via text, he tells me what equipment he will need and the costs. I agree to split the cost with him.$6500. However when I get the written proposal, not all the equipment is listed.My share remains at $6500.10-I tell Van that I want to monitor my system for a while, to decide whether I really want to spend the additional money.11- 7/7/23. Van notified that the gateway is partially connected. The system goes offline and is still offline(5 months) as of today. Last request for help 12/6/2023
