Additional Notes

Complaint: Was provided report lacking detail of vehicle problems diagnosed that are normally included during diagnosis that was paid for. I have taken two vehicles to Midpac auto for diagnostic checks and repairs. Three times in a row once with Toyota Camry sedan and twice with Nissan Frontier. I have been given wrong information regarding the issues with the Toyota which caused financial problems that was estimated to have the value of $1,250.00 minimum and vehicle making the monitary loss estimated at $825.00 this loss could have been easily avoided if given all information instead got a very vague sentence saying what should be done with car. With the Frontier the first time being serviced the mechanic diagnosed the issues and provided a quote for the work needing to be done. So amount paid was the amount we were quoted which included everything on the diagnostic list. However when vehicle was returned little to none of the items that were said to be fixed had been addressed. Many of the problems were made to look like they may have done something but was just a cover up by mechanic and were still present when vehicle was returned. Also about eight gallons of gas had been removed from the vehicle when returned. We informed Midpac of the missing work that was charged for and they said they were busy and must have forgotten they had us bring the Nissan back to the shop where we had to pay an additional amount to have one of the main issues fixed even though this was supposedly covered in first payment. So one total for the Nissan that was paid was the initial bill of $1,353.15. In all Midpac has caused about $2180.00 in (as I see it) damages to myself and family and should be addressed and rectified as much as possible.

Desired Settlement: To settle this matter with Midpac Auto desirably would be a refund of the total amount paid for the Nissan. Also at least a partial reimbursement for the difference of sale vs estimate of the Toyota because the information if it had been given in full would have allowed for higher sale price of vehicle. Also compensation for hours put into all appointments, phone calls, times traveled to and from Midpac along with time taken to report this business and all distress caused by the entire fiasco of an ordeal.
