              I went into Maui Tropix on 5/30/2023 and made a purchase of 3 pareos, 2 t-shirts and 3 stickers. On 6/09/2023, I just so happened to look at my receipt and realized that I was charged incorrectly by Maui Tropix. Instead of being charged for 2 t-shirts (2 x $21.59= $53.98), I was charged for 4 t-shirts (4 x $21.59= $107.96). I immediately called Maui Tropix and spoke with manager *****, who proceeded to tell me that their cameras only go so far back as 7 days. Therefore, because my purchase was made over 7 days ago, there was no way for them to go back to their camera system to verify what happened during my transaction. She stated that it was company policy and if theyre not able to verify the transaction, then theres nothing that they could do to help me. I asked to speak with the store owner which I never received a call. I called ***** back 3 times to plead with her about my issue and she stated that there wasnt anything they could do on their end but could suggest that I go through my credit card company to dispute the charge.
