This dealership is extremely dishonest and plays games . Claim to be transparent when in fact they are one of the sneakiest/sleazy businesses Ive ever dealt with . My story starts on a Monday when I came in to Toyota Honolulu to buy a Tacoma . After test driving the vehicle I intended to buy . We ran the numbers , as expected I need a co-signer to get a decent interest rate . I sit with the sales team and finance guy for over an hour only to be told that because my co-signer is on the mainland they cannot facilitate a deal . What ?!? I told them Im leaving , they then stop me and tell me they can make a deal . We sit and fill out papers for an hour and play their waiting around game to be told they need to over night the paper work to the mainland and have it overnighted back . ( no deal after all ) Okay fine, lets do it . Send the paper work . Told the finance guy my co-signer would have the paper work back by Friday or Saturday . Instead of listening to the customer he decided I dont know what Im talking about and set the date for an additional week out. So paper work comes in ( exactly when I said it would ) and Toyota calls me ( now Saturday morning ) to let me know Ill be able to pick up my truck today . 45 minutes before Im scheduled to go pick up the vehicle ******** their finance guy , calls me to let me know I cant pick up the vehicle for another week unless I want to sign a different deal than what was agreed upon a week prior . ( keep in mind , I always had the option with a 15k down payment to take a bad interest rate and leave with the truck ) The point of all the waiting and ***** overnighting was to facilitate a good deal which Toyota will not offer you as a young buyer with new credit . Sales person- ******************* Finance Guy - ***************************** Manager - ****** Will never shop at or recommend Toyota to anyone for any reason , ever again . BEWARE !!!!
