    I have a rental home located in Greensboro, NC and have been with the same property management company for 12 years. The name of that company was Rent-A-Home. In the last year, the company failed to act in my best interest, failed to take care of the property, failed to document the tenant’s damage to the house after the tenant was asked to move out for numerous late payments, failed to capture any of the security deposit, failed to complete repairs on the house in a timely matter, and lastly after I hired another property management company and hired another contractor to complete the work, I have found that the vendors that they used did not complete the work that I paid them for. The items are the electrical, the touch-up paint, and the chimney inspection. I reached out to Rent-A-Home and they decline to reimburse me. I have attached the email correspondence between me and the company. I also have attached documentation for my contractor and my new property management company that verifies that Rent-A-Home vendors did not complete the work that I previously paid for. I have attached the invoices for the electricians, the chimney inspection, and the cost of touch up painting by my contractor that I had to pay for. The name of my contractor is ******** **** and my new property manager is ****** ******. I have attached documentation from my contractor and property manager that collaborates my complaint. Finally I have attached invoice from Rent-A-Home vendors, *** ********, Inc and **** ****** ******* *******, LLS. The work of the vendors hired by Rent-A-Home did not complete the work. Because of this fact, I had to pay additional money to have the work completed. I am asking reimbursement for the following charges: Electrical: $631.16 Painting: $453.69 Chimney Inspection: $245.00 Thank you. *****

    Rent-A-Home has been managing my property in Greensboro for almost 10 years. I do not live in the area. Rent-A-Home has been great at keeping the property maintained and rented. They have chosen high quality renters who respect the property. When repairs are required, they are quick to answer my questions and send information that aids in my decision process. I am pleased with the work that has been done. They quickly and cordially respond to my requests. I am happy with the way they manage the property.
