Better Business Bureau has received the following statement from a spokesman for the business:
"ComfortSource.Net Inc., doing business as Comfortsource.com, UptownLeather.com, and UrbanHomeSytle.com have ceased operating due to difficult economic conditions. If a consumer purchased an item and the item has a manufacturer's defect, please direct the consumer to contact the manufacturer. Most items are covered by a manufacturers warranty. If the consumer purchased an extended warranty from either Ultra Shield or Like New Furniture, please direct the consumer to contact those companies directly to determine whether their product is covered by an extended warranty. Ultra Shield can be reached at 800-866-0636. Like New Furniture can be reached at 800-204-2315. If the item has delivery damage, please contact the shipping company which in most cases was Reliable Trucking at 336-882-4455. If the consumer has an existing unfilled or incomplete order, please direct the consumer to contact their credit card company for the appropriate amount of credit. There is a possibility that some orders may be at the delivery service, Reliable Trucking. Consumers should check with Reliable Trucking prior to seeking credit from their credit card company. Any further questions should be directed in writing to Comfortsource.net Inc.'s corporate counsel: BOC Law Group PC, 24100 Woodward Avenue, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069. Comfortsource.net Inc. sincerely apologizes for whatever inconvenience this action may cause and shall do its utmost to assist its prior customers with any and all concerns they may have."
