gardener removed tree leaving a hole in the garden that was not evident and caused my daughter to sprain her ankle. they refused to fill or replace the hole for several months. they then damaged the gutter by attempting to trim a ****, they failed to maintain the **** properly causing additional damage to gutter. the gutter is not connected to the spot, and additional dry rot and structural damage was caused to the roof, the wall, and the trelice, and the stucco. Contractors estimate 3k just to assess the damage, roofer estimated repairs to start at ****. there landscapers accepted liability but refused a licensed contractor to do the work. instead the landscapers suggestion was to create seams in the gutter and use caulking to repair just the cuts into the gutter. this is not appropriate for a seamless gutter, and does not address the larger issue. There is structural damage to roof, garage stucco, down pipe, trelice, and possibly additional damage being the wall. they were requested to come out several times to correct, although because they wouldnt agree to allow a licensed contractor fix it, they have ignored the problem.
