Complaint: Purchaes a Chia Cat Grass planter & when I opened box, it didn't have all pieces, only contained pot, missing soil and seeds. It was a new, sealed box I purchased a ChiaCat Grass Planter on 1/5/2015. It was a sealed box. I purchased it at Rite Aid. Upon opening the box, I noticed that the seeds and soil were missing from the box. I emailed the company on 1/7/2015 and informed them of this situation. This is my email to them: Hi, My name is ******* ****** and I just bought a Chia Cat Grass Planter at my local Rite-Aid, sku # X-XXXXX-XXXXX-X, and the only item in the box was the planter. There were no soil or seeds although the instruction card indicated that it contained the soil and the seeds as well as an insert which featured your other products were also in the box. Needless to say, I am upset that it wasn't a complete kit. Please contact me at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you have any questions regarding my purchase. I can also provide you with the receipt. I purchased it on 1/5/15 at the Rite Aid in Chula Vista, California - Telegraph Canyon location. The receipt number/transaction number is #XXXXXX. My address is ******************************** XXXXX and my phone number is included above. Thank you, ******* ****** Here is their reply: Thank you for reaching out to Joseph Enterprises. I am sorry that your kit was not complete. I also suggest that you return your item to the store where you purchased it. I called the company and asked them to send me the seeds and the soil. I spoke with the same person at the number indicated above and she asured me she would send me the seeds and soil. I let 3 weeks go by and no items. I called the customer service number again on January 31 and the same person answered. I told her who I was and that she had said she would send me the items missing from the box. She again said she would send me the items but I have yet to receive anything. I have the receipt and can provide you with that if you'd like. I just want this company to provide me for the items I paid for that were missing from the box. I can also forward the email conversation as additional proof at your request. I paid by cash. I was shocked at the reply (I still have the email and will cut and paste their I spoke with the person who answered at the XXX-XXX-XXXX x100, as indicated
Desired Settlement: I want the seeds and soil missing from the box. I also want the company to be advised that they need to honor and include all items indicated in the box. Otherwise, it is fraudulent practices.
