Complaint: Extremely poor customer service in providing necessary room refund. We booked the hotel for July 25, 2014 and cancelled properly through Booking.com on July 23, 2014. The hotel still billed our credit card on July 28, 2014.The hotel has not been honest and has avoided their responsibility to their booking agent and the direct customer. We have made numerous phone calls to the hotel in the last 10 days, who continue to avoid taking responsibility by deferring us to various people who cannot help. At one point a hotel employee hung up the phone on the booking agent and intentionally are not responding to any e-mails or phone calls by them. The management is absent and negligent and does not return correspondence. Each time we call we are given a different story as to why we have to continue to wait to receive a proper refund. We are seriously considering small claims court if we are not provided with the necessary refund. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Case is being handled by another organization: Booking.com

Desired Settlement: We are seeking an immediate refund in the amount of $134.28, which was debited from our bank account after proper cancellation, and no reception of services by the hotel.
