BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating Overview
BBB Customer Reviews Rating represents the customers opinions of the business. The Customer Review Rating is based on the number of positive, neutral and negative customer reviews posted that are calculated to produce a score.
|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|

Complaint: Paid for silver that I never received. Will not communicate with me to resolve problem. On or about Oct 2013 the owner came to my home with the object to purchase silver bars from him. I wanted to buy $6000 worth of silver but he only had $4000 in silver with him and convinced me to pay him the $6000 and he would bring me the balance of $1500 in silver within a few days. After about a week I called him and he told me that there was a shortage of silver bars but he would have them by weeks end. Our next conversation he told me he had already gave me the silver in coin. I never received coin or any other silver from him. For the last 4 months I have been calling him with no success. I gone by his store many times only to see him run to the back room and then being told by his employees that ***** was not in today. He owes me $1500 or 1500 hundred in silver. I am 68 and disabled and need help in this matter.
Desired Settlement: Either a full refund for what I paid for the silver, $6000 or $1500 in silver, bar or coin.
Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/04/17) */ I have both emailed this customer and responded to his yelp review. briefly, he bought silver at its highest point and after it fell 60% he decides to call me and say I charged him too much. Then says I didn't give him enough silver. The bullion was received by him in full. I don't know what else to do. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/04/22) */ ****** As per our conversation on the phone, my reply via you're site did not go through and I am replying via email in case #XXXXXXXX so you may input it as a reply to the business.. my response is as follows; , "There is no way to fight a lie with the truth". In regards to communication between the two of us, I show no emails from him going back to October 1, 2013. If he has these emails please provide copies of same to me. I have tried many many times to call him only to be told he was out and would be back join a couple of hours and retried to call him with no success. I went to his store and looked into the front window and saw him with a customer. I decided to call him and when he looked at his phone he handed to his employee to answer and was told he was not in. Lie. I went into his store and saw him hurry to the backroom. When ask, I was told he was not in. Lie. As far as Yelp goes this has nothing to do with the matter at hand. I only posted on Yelp to warn others of communication problems with him. When I bought the silver it was at a high price but that was the risk I was will to take, it was not a fact that he charged me to much it was that I did not get what I paid for. Remember this all happened within a 48 hour period while the cost of silver was on the rise. Not my fault he keeps no records nor did I get a receipt for my purchase. He did suggest that he was willing to give me a thousand dollars of junk silver and I agreed to that. There really nothing I ** n do at this point in time and he knows in his heart that he has wronged me and he has to live with that. Just be honest and give what you owe me and I will change my Yelp view.
