    I have been a customer with ******************** for 9 years. My wife and I noticed that the lights on the system. The 3 lights would flash sporadically. We didn't pay too much attention to this, until we got are 2022 true up bill from PG@E of over $3,000 (lights on system no longer light up}. I called ***************** of West Coast Solar and ask if someone would come out to figure out what was happening (did I need more panels, was there interference between panels and unit, etc.), ************** said that our system was working from what he could see, and explained the problem was we just bought an *** I3 electric car. I than asked if someone could still come out to see what we could do, ************** said he looked on his computer at a satellite image of our property and said he would get back with me. He did not return call, I called 3 more times and still no answer.Getting no answers from **************, I finally got a call from a ************ {Oct. or November 2022 not sure of exact date.) he had me email copies of my PG@E statements. **** also said he would get back with me, he never did call me.My true up statement is going to surpass $4000 this year. Since March of 2023 thru April, I have called this West Coast over 7 times that I needed this problem fixed! The woman that I talked to sounded like they were even concerned, they would tell me they had to call a supervisor, they would get back to me and told me they talked to the person and they will call me the following day. STILL NO CALL BACK!The lights on the system do not turn on, the illuminated numbers on system does not work, I've talked to PG@E, I've have had electricians come out. they agree something is wrong with the system.When I bought this system, I was told if there were problems, they would be out because of their warranty. I have followed my contract obligations I wish West Coast Solar would do the same. I hope they fix the problem or just take it back.

    I had a horrible experience. West Coast Solar (WCS) sold me a system with 27 panels just shy of 4 years ago. I never had a problem, until last year. In August 2022, I started getting outrageous bills from PG&E, that continued to increase over the next two months. I called PG&E and found that my system had not been working since August 17th. I called WCS and was informed they upgraded their system, switched from 3G to 5G, and this resulted in my system being thrown off the grid as it was not compatible. I told them I was never notified by mail, email, phone call regarding the switch, or with a plan to switch the inverter box to ensure my system continued a seamless production of energy. The equipment is under warranty for 25 years, and I was assured WCS would maintain their equipment as customer service was a priority. The tech came out and apologized, informed me that switching the inverter box would take all of ***** minutes to swap out, and they had a warehouse full of them. Two more months past with my energy bills rising all the way. I called and was told it was "out for approval." I told them my true up charge was going to be high because it was off the grid, and I needed it switched out asap. They replaced my inverter box on February 17th of 2023! My true up charges are $2,300, and my bills I have paid while the system was down totaled upwards of $4300! When I called to ask for help with the bills, they said they could offer me $600! Poor business practices and a lack of good faith with customer service is my experience with this company. Even more disturbing, I found more reviews on line regarding the same issue with this company. I wouldn't give them one star as a rating except I had to choose one to write this review, and I don't want to see this happen to anyone else.
