    Service or Repair Issues
    Status:
    Answered
In March 2010, the local Re-bath franchise installed a bath liner with walls, the shower liner with walls, plumbing, fixtures, toilet, sink, and vanity cabinet with a lifetime warranty. The work was poorly done, and the Rebath corporate was unresponsive. Finally, the Rebath Corporate representative came to assess the situation - damaged shower liner and punctured bath liner. In August 2011, a local Rebath franchise owner came to do the repairs. They replaced the shower liner and repaired the holes and polished the bath tub liner. It took more than a year for Rebath to respond to the issues and order warranty work. I have the original email communication regarding the warranty issues and repair work done in August ********************** August 2021, I noticed a few pitting yellow stains in the bathtub. I called Rebath Corporate and they said to submit a warranty claim and try a bleach solution, which did not help. I called again and they said I had to submit a warranty claim again and try the bleach solution again, up to 3 times, which again did not help. They stopped responding to my calls. I sent them an email that bleach solutions did not work, and they only responded to my email after I left several voice messages. They said to fill out the warranty claim again and told me that stains are not covered by the lifetime warranty. They sent me different versions of bleach solutions, which were confusing and failed to remove the stains.I believe that yellow stains on the bathtub liner should be covered by a lifetime warranty. I have always used only Rebath approved cleaning solutions and gentle personal bath products. I have no idea how these stains appeared. I believe a Rebath professional needs to review the records of the prior warranty work done in 2011 and also evaluate the yellow stains for repair under warranty. Please, see more information in the attached documents.Thank you!

Jan. 2018 - *********Bath on ************* Had three quotes and though they were more expensive, they promised the work would be done in 7 days. Since I have only one bathroom, I decided that this was the best option. Told the project Mgr. ********************* that the house is old, and that no electrical outlets were grounded. Came home from work to the smell of electrical over heating. They left their power tools plugged into my outlets, and left the house. I now have no working power in my dining room or one outlet in my living room. The project managers response was that the worker's didn't understand, and basically oops. Work took 11 days. I let it drop, I just wanted these people out of my house. Now, 3 years later, taking a shower, go to step out of the tub and the door shatters in my hand. SHATTERS. Cuts on my left arm and left foot, and a trip to the *** Called Re*Bath today, and was told that there was only a one year fit and finish warranty on heavy glass doors that should last 20 years. They want to charge me to replace it. I will be contacting an attorney. This company does not deserve any business, and should be shut down.

Unfortunately glass can break. Tempered glass (required by law for shower doors) is designed to shatter into small pieces so large shards of glass can't cause even larger damage. We were happy to offer an almost 50% discount on the replacement door.
