I brought my truck a **** ***** K10 driving it to Action Auto ***************** ***** Antioch ** ***** June 2023 for the following: - Change carburator - Change Intake manifold - Fix Brakes - Check transfer case - Change Radiator and fan - Add Long tube Headers and pipes -Add different Camshaft - Change Air cleaner -Oil Change, new starter On Aug 30 I gave the owner **************** a $2,000 Deposit because supposedly they were finally going to start working on the truck. I constantly asked for updates week after week,month after month and there was never any progress. I asked for the truck back as is because nothing was getting done to it, but was assured that they were already working on it and would be ready in a week. In October they were still "working on it". They never got to work on the brakes or the exhaust pipes so i told her to not work on that, i just want my truck back and I was going to get that done somewhere else. November and the truck is still there. They told me that the exhaust had to be put on the truck for them to finish it, so we agree I would tow it to get it done then bring it back to them, but they wanted $3,500. The truck was damaged, leaking transmission fluid,headers were put on with a hammer and damaged,it's missing parts, the engine belt fell off, fan to radiator never got connected, and the truck is not driveable, they didn't do anything right. Nov 10 they told me to just take my truck as it is, that they don't know where the missing parts are. I told them that all I want is my $2,000 deposit back knowing that now it will cost me much more to get it fixed with all the damage that it has now. Six months in that shop for nothing and they refuse to give my deposit back. I showed them their own yelp reviews that i'm not the first customer they do that too and they just don't care, they are really just scamming people from their money and not doing the jobs.
