            Headnote is a payment portal for law firms. In one to three business days, Headnote is supposed to automatically transfer funds paid by clients to me through the Headnote portal, directly to my business account. I pay ********************** a fee of 2.9% per transaction.Unlike PayPal and many other portals, Headnote is a pure portal: funds transacted through Headnote are not deposited into a Headnote account that I control; I cannot access Headnote funds until they are deposited into my business bank account.On June 28, 2023, a client paid me $2,500. To date, July 8, 2023 (six business days later), Headnote has not transferred the funds to my business account.On July 3, 2023, Headnote withdrew it's 2.9% fee of $72.50 for this $2500 transaction from my business account, further acknowledging the transaction.To date, July 8, 2023, I have submitted numerous support requests. I have yet to receive a response.

            No communication. The company began slowing down *** payments with no notice. When SVB was closed, they were caught. Instead of pushing out *** payments that were already there, this company withdrew a processing fee but still didn't push through the *** deposit to my account. Even after saying in an email that *** payments were going to take 3-5 business days, it is now the 7th business day and still no release of funds.The phone number listed for this business on BBB is not correct. The phone number embedded in their terms of service for support does not allow you to speak to anyone. There is only a greeting.I do not recommend this company.

            We apologize for the inconvenience, *******. Our standard payment deposit timeline with receiving banks is 3-5 business days for ACH payments. While there was a brief delay in this timeline due to the macroeconomic events of the past week, we can assure you that all ACH payments are back to their standard deposit timeline.
