BBB Offers Free Document Shredding for Maryland Consumers, April 26

Join Better Business Bureau serving Greater Maryland at its award winning Shred Day, an identity theft prevention event, on Saturday, April 26 beginning at  8 a.m. 
Families and businesses are invited to bring up to three boxes of personally identifying documents for free on-site shredding. Attendees will receive a reusable shopping bag filled with identity theft protection tips, resources and sponsor gifts.
Tax season is a great time to safely rid your household or office of paperwork printed with personal or financial information that is no longer necessary according to recommended records retention schedule
The rain or shine event will take place simultaneously at two locations including the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, and behind the AMC theater at THE AVENUE in White Marsh. BBB Shred Day runs from 8 a.m. to 12 noon or until the trucks - three per site - are filled.

In the eight years since the annual event began, BBB serving Greater Maryland has saved thousands of trees, hundreds of thousands of kilowatts of energy, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and saving water.
