            Fairfax has a very bad reputation in Salisbury for trying to renovate their properties at the renters expense in violation of Maryland laws. I've talked to 6 other previous residents and they all said the same thing. They were hit with a big bill after moving out for unnecessary repairs. The day we signed a lease the living room walls were so soft from the roof leaking that if you leaned on the wall your hand literally went through the drywall. They were informed on day one and years later, no repairs to the roof. The drains were constantly clogging and the response was always "that is your resposibility". The alarm system was shorted, probably from the leaking roof, and went off several times a day. No repairs were ever made to the system so it was not used. They also try to charge you for the fines they receive from the fire dept and police for false alarms. It took 3 months to fix the AC. They use unlicensed contractors to do repairs. Renting from Fairfax may be better than being homeless but not by much.

            I am truly sorry to hear your experience with us was not the most pleasant, as we strive to provide nothing but excellence! As we discussed several times, I am always happy to sit down with you and review any questions or concerns you may have had, along with the video conducted after the move out. All our contractors hired are licensed and insured, and are hired to return our properties back to the original condition they were provided in, minus normal wear and tear.

            Lastly, to assist with any additional rent being accrued to your account after our repossession of the property, we were able to re-lease the home prior to the lease end date, and only rent due in accordance with Maryland law was applied.
