“Dealer makes no representations, expressed or implied, to any actual or prospective purchaser or owner of this vehicle as to the existence, ownership, accuracy, description or condition of the listed vehicle's equipment, accessories, price, specials or any warranties. Any and all differences must be addressed prior to the sale of this vehicle.”

“The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.”

Selling Practices:
Consumers allege the company engages in deceptive practices to sell vehicles. Consumers state that purchases were made based on company representatives false assertions as to the vehicles condition and defects. Consumers claim that the company denied vehicles being involved in accidents, failed to disclose defects, and made inaccurate claims as to basic vehicle components including engine type.

The company usually responds with statements including, but not limited to, not having knowledge of mechanical issues with the vehicle, the vehicle performed properly when sold, and the vehicle was advertised with 31 detailed photos. The company also states that it is not responsible for any misinformation it provides to consumers in the sale of the vehicle.

Advertising Practices:
Consumers allege the company uses deceptive advertising to sell vehicles. Specifically, complainants state that true conditions of vehicles are not disclosed. Mechanical defects, safety issues, and cosmetic defects are not disclosed. Consumers add that features and vehicle options are listed on the advertisement that the vehicle does not possess. Consumers further claim that advertisements inaccurately state that vehicles will pass safety and emissions testing and inaccurately state vehicle mileage. Finally consumers state the vehicles are falsely advertised as "certified" with bumper-to-bumper warranty.

The company usually responds with statements including, not possessing knowledge of mechanical issues with the vehicle, the vehicle performed properly when sold, the vehicle was sold in good running condition, and the vehicle is sold As-Is.

Quality of Product: Consumers report the vehicles purchased from the company are in poor condition and are of poor quality. One consumer stated that a purchased RV was advertised as: "Trip Ready," "All appliances work," "Inside and Outside in excellent shape," "Like New," "Great Shape." Despite the advertisement, the consumer believed the RV to be a hurricane salvage due to the extent of water damage, mold, rotting, and exterior damage. The RV had several leaks, an inoperable gas tank, broken hot water heater, faulty lights, faulty electric, severe mold issues, several areas of insect infestation, broken fresh water pump, overflowing and broken toilet, and a generator which caught fire.

Another consumer received assurance from a company representative that the vehicle they were considering for purchase was in "great shape." When the vehicle was delivered however, numerous scratches were visible on the driver side door, passenger side roof, and passenger side door. These scratches were listed on the bill of lading by the auto transportation driver upon pick up from the company dealership. In addition, one wheel lug nut was missing from each wheel and an additional 824 miles was placed on the vehicle between purchase and delivery.

The company responds to these complaints with statements such as "The vehicle was in good mechanical condition when we sold it. It left our facility with all systems working properly. It is very unfortunate that the vehicle needs maintenance. However, it is a used vehicle and maintenance is part of ownership. We sold the vehicle As-Is." In response to the allegation of additional miles being placed on the vehicle, the company responded by stating, "the vehicle had to be driven for make ready & warranty repairs."

Failure to refund:

Consumers report being encouraged by company representatives to place a $500 deposit on a vehicle to ensure it is not sold before they have an opportunity to look at it. Despite being assured the deposit is fully refundable, consumers later find that it is not refundable or is refunded minus an advertising expense of around $100. Further, consumers complain that upon discovering significant problems with their vehicle, the company refuses to allow the customer to return the vehicle for a full refund or to reimburse them for major repairs that were not disclosed. Consumers also allege that the company fails to refund as promised, refunds less than the agreed amount, or failed to send the promised part.

In response to these complaints, the company usually responds by stating, "All deposits are non-refundable."

Customer Service:

Consumers report the customer service from the company is excellent until the vehicle is purchased. After payment is made, company representatives do not answer the phone, do not return voice mail or e-mail messages, are not helpful, and refuse to rectify any issues with the vehicle sold.

The company has failed to address the decline in its customer service once payment is made.

Although the company typically responds to complaints lodged with the BBB, it has failed to make changes designed to eliminate the source of complaints. Further, despite several assertions that the company will make a partial monetary reimbursement to the consumer or will send a missing part, consumers frequently notify the BBB that the company has failed to send the money or part as agreed.
