Complaint: My complaint is regaurding order ****** that was placed with Brewhaus. The order was placed on Feb. 6 and still has not shipped, the seller said it would take 3-4 weeks. After order did not ship on the 4th week I messaged him asking for infomation on my order and he said it would be 4-5 weeks. Still my order has not shipped and it is going into the 7th week since I ordered it. The seller keeps saying this is because of backlogged orders, but I bought the product under the idea that it was going to take 3-4 weeks. The seller does not keep me updated on the reason why it is taking so long I have to contact him myself to obtain any information on this order.
Desired Settlement: Since the order has takin so long to ship I would be satified if the seller would pay the shipping charges and for my trouble, aggrivation, and effort I would like 15% off of the price of the order. This is not a unreasonable request, I have been dealing with this for almost two months now Order total: $250.39 Without Shipping: $220.30 15% Discount: $187.25
The entire industry has been extremely backlogged for the past several months. We do note on our website the current delay, and update it as necessary to try to keep customers up to date on the current estimated shipping delay, but it is not possible to judge with extreme accuracy because of the number of orders being placed. This is the reason that we are regularly updating our website with the current expected shipping delay. If we take the time to regularly contact every customer waiting for parts to be produced it will take time away from production and add to the shipping delay. We do understand the frustration, and feel it ourselves, as we like to ship orders within 24 hours, but are not able to do so on welded parts at this time. However, we have not charged your credit card, and never charge for an order until it is ready to ship. I am sorry, but we are not able to offer a 15% discount and free shipping on your order. We are currently working on orders from 2/4, so your order should be shipping within the next two days.

Better Business Bureau:
Although I do sympathize with the seller regarding his backlogged orders and shipping troubles. Since a medium can not be reach reguarding the selling price I would just prefer to cancel my order all together. The orders being backlogged was not the issue, the seller did not provided accurate shipping delay information upon the time i purchased the items, had I know it would be 7-8 weeks before the products even shipped I would have not ordered the items. I order the items thinking that they would ship with-in 3-4 weeks as said on the Brewhaus website, this time has almost double and I would just prefer to cancel my order and do business with another supplier.
Again, I am very sorry for the delay. Your order has been cancelled as requested, and nothing has been charged to your credit card. Should you decide to revive the order due to the longer delays found elsewhere please contact me directly so that your order can be placed back into its original position, so that it can ship immediately.
BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
