Complaint: i brought my 2007 pontiac solstice in for repair (check engine light was on ) salesman didnt disclose to me that it would cost me 195.88 in labor cost for 1 hours work. the car was brought into shop by me at 8:24 am finished work on car at 9:26 am by the time my car was brought into service area they worked on my car for about 30 minutes total. i would of never had them work on the car if i would have knon it was going to coast me 195.88 in labor cost for 2 54.05 dollar parts that just snap into place. i think they over charged me for labor cost, i feel its taking advantage of people. its ridiculous to charge a person that kind of money for such little effort to work on the car. its wrong.
Desired Settlement: they over charged me. i feel they owe me money back on my bill. its ridiculous what they charge and not tell people till its too late.
Business Response: We are going to refund $195.00 and repair vehicle properly.
Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ******** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I have taken the car back and they said the part would take weeks to be received since they were unable to find, when I was able to find the part quickly online. Also they did send me an email saying a refund would be issued but I have not heard or received anything.
Business Response: If a check has not been mailed it will be mailed 7-21-2012.Thanks
