Tri-State Better Business Bureau Announces     
New Board Chair for 2013
Evansville, IN– January 16, 2013 – The Tri-State Better Business Bureau announces that Raymond L. Farabaugh, President and co-owner of D-Patrick Motoplex, will serve as its new Board Chair in 2013. He will succeed Don Decker, President and CEO of Decker & Vickery Inc. dba Mills Body Shops and Mills Truck Equipment, who has served as Board Chair since January, 2012.
Farabaugh oversees the operations of D-Patrick Motoplex, a multi-franchise automobile dealership offering Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, Nissan, Honda, Ford and Lincoln brands. The dealership is widely known in the Tri-State for extensive charity work and community involvement.
Farabaugh has served on the National Dealer Council for BMW and was the former chairman of the Dealer Advisory Board for Zurich Insurance Company.  He is the sponsor and chair of the Mercedes-Benz Golf and Tennis Championships, which raise funds for local charities, and presently sits on the Community Board of Old National Bank.
Active in the community, Farabaugh is a past Board member of the Evansville Philharmonic, an avid supporter of Susan G. Koman (chairing the BMW Ultimate Drive committee for twelve years), and with his wife Mary Ellen, was awarded the Bobby Sloan Symbol of Hope Award by the Evansville Koman affiliate in 2007.
Farabaugh is active in Holy Rosary Church, where he spent many years chairing the Finance Committee and was awarded the coveted Bilski Award for service, in 2006.
Happily married with two sons, Farabaugh has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton (1979) and completed Master's work in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Akron (1980).
The Tri-State Better Business Bureau congratulates Mr. Farabaugh on his new position of Board Chair and looks forward to his service in the coming year.
The board is currently served by 24 members, where Mr. Farabaugh has held a position since 2005.
