            On September 7th, I opened a home warranty claim with American Home Shield for a heat pump that needed to be replaced. They assigned Muehlbauer Heating & Air as my contractor, and I immediately called to set up an appointment. He came out the same day, but when he left, he did not say whether he fixed the unit, was going to return with parts, or whether it needed replacing. After a couple days, I called - no answer. Next day, I called and left a voicemail - no return call. Then Friday, my entire HVAC system went down (coincidence or not, I won't speculate here). AHS can't do anything because he never submitted his visit to them. They also reached out via email and phone with no response. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for a whole new system because of this company. Plus the $100 service charge for him to come out the first time. He's irresponsible and with all the complaints I've seen on google, I can't believe AHS is still referring him.

            Muehlbauer was assigned by Amer. Home Shield to fix our furnace. He came out at the end od April to inspect the furnace as the blower fan is acting up. He ordered the parts and on May 11 he called and said he would be out on May 12. He never came. After several calls I finally got him on the phone. He said he would be out on the 13th. Never showed up and I can never get him on the phone. Amer Home shield tried over a half doz. times and he never responded to them as well. After 2 weeks Amer Home assigned a new contractor. I have talked to numerous people on social media about Muehlbauer and they all say they had similar experience with this contractor. Never shows up, never responds to phone calls. BBB needs to look into this contractor and if there is any possible action that can be taken against him as he is not a good business for this area, not reliable, and dependable.
