Unbelievably shocked at the service we were provided. After the recent wind storm, ******* came by with his card and offered to help us fix the shingles on our roof. Typically my husband would do a small job like that but he is working 6 days a week, so we decided to support a small, local business after just moving to the area. ******* shows up and says he fixed the roof and told me we could "rest easy". He was also complaining about how tired he was from helping so many people and how he needed his ex to drive him around because he was so tired and hungover he couldn't drive himself. He also smelled like alcohol, but I couldn't say for sure if he was inebriated at the time or if it was just a hungover smell. After my husband took a look at the roof, he noticed the fix was not done properly and would not last long. When I emailed ******* to ask why it was done that way, he replied with 4 consecutive emails, swearing at me, telling me we were the kind of people nobody wanted to work for, telling me I should be thanking him and ending with telling me to "have your husband f**king fix it". We are so disappointed in a local service taking advantage of our family. Luckily, my husband is a handy guy and could tell how improper the job was done. I just hope he hasn't done the same thing to others who may not have thought to check or wouldn't know any better. I would not trust this man to be near my home ever again. UPDATE: after asking for a refund, he insists that he fixed the problem (even though he previously admitted to not doing it properly), told me I'm unthankful and a hater and then blocked me.
