Eleanor (Elea) Katzele has been officially elected as the new CEO and President of the Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern WA, North ID, and MT. Katzele has been Vice President of the Spokane based BBB since 2007; leading both Operations and Communications teams.
Katzele is honored to fill the position that past CEO Jan Quintrall has held for 13 years. "This organization has grown so much under Jan's direction, and I'm excited to expand even further in our 100th year," Katzele says. "It's our chance to focus on our Accredited Business services and remind the marketplace what we do; what we're all about."
Katzele intends to focus on continuing to build relationships with Accredited Businesses and encouraging consumers to become educated buyers throughout BBB's three state region. Ed Cushman, BBB Board of Directors member and owner of C & H Foreign Auto Repair expressed his support of Katzele. "She is dedicated to upholding the standards of the BBB. She's very forward thinking and will do marvelously."
The BBB team also trusts Katzele's direction; "I feel confident. Elea brings great vision, consistency, and knowledge to our organization," said Andrew Dietz, BBB Director of Core Services. "I see her being the face of the BBB for years to come."
Prior to working for BBB, Katzele spent six years with Bank of America in various Operations roles. She has a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University with management, marketing, and HR majors.
