    This is a complaint concerning Gold Seal Plumbing in the Spokane Valley. The first part of November I called them to come to my daughters house at **** ** *** to unclog a sewer line. I also told them she had a leaky faucet in the bathroom. They put in a new faucet and drain but later that evening my daughter said she still had a leak.After spending time removing the toilet and snaking the drain they weren't able to fix the sewer problem so they gave up and left. There bill came to $940.00 and all my daughter got out of it was a new faucet that was still leaking and a toilet that was still clogged. We called another plumber and he was able to fix the problem by going thru the vent in the roof which is something Gold Seal never tried to do. His bill was $446.00. Total for the day was $1,386.00. She paid both bills and I repaid her taking money of an IRA account. I have contacted Gold Seal 3 different times by email and twice by letter asking them for at least a partial refund. A full refund would probably be asking to much. I told them I would be happy with getting back the money we had to spend on a second plumber($446.00). They have ignored my emails and letters so that is why I have contacted you. I believe it is only fair for them to give me at least a partial refund for the work they were not able to do.     They do not inform you when you set your appointment that they are going to text you the day of your appointment and if you dont respond within ten minutes they will not honor their appointment. Husband set appointment with his phone and I was at the house waiting for four hours. If they wouldve told us that when we made the appointment we wouldve given them my number. Very poor customer **********************. When we called them about it all they said was we told you that we would call 1/2 hour before we got there. We didnt get a call and even if we did if you dont answer it then they will not show up. Ridiculous. Take time off work to wait for a company that doesnt show up
