I put a homeless person up in the Capri motel for one night on December 26, 2023. The room was way too filthy for even an animal to stay in. I felt so awful leaving her there under those conditions. Not to mention the filth, so many violations. No switch cover on the light switch. No way to lock the door from the inside. No batteries in the smoke detector. A mini fridge and microwave that you wouldnt even want to touch with gloves. A TV that had wiring closely resembling an octopus on the wall . Filthy and broken desk. Broken front window. Broken bathroom window that would not close and was covered with handiwrap and a magazine over the whole. No lighting in the room whatsoever except a fluorescent light over the top of the microwave and refrigerator. Something in the shower, closely resembling worms, but honestly could have been wet pieces of yarn from someones clothing . The light above the bathroom sink was long and rectangular and on about a 30 angle falling off the wall. The wall above and behind the mini fridge and microwave had globs of toilet paper stuck to them, closely resembling giant spit wads. Headboard on bed had huge piece of Naugahyde material missing, leaving a place the size of a large bread board where you would lean back that had nothing on it but just the under fabric. A small animal could have been constructed out of the hair and dirt under the bed, all doors, door, casings, windowsills, walls, in a condition that you would not willingly touch without protective gear. You had to go around the corner to the convenience store to get into the motel and get your room key. Sidenote: chicken strips at convenience store were dry enough to choke anyone who tried to eat them. Avoid at any price. I would give it a rating of zero stars if it would allow me to do that and still submit my review.Took numerous photos, facility needs to be closed.
