With my wife Janet & our team of employees & subcontractors we offer everything from architectural design through all the trades to completion of the project. Though remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, decks and basements have been our mainstay, we have experience in new home construction and welcome the opportunity to bid on it. Other features we offer are: Design and building of home theaters, painting - including lead based paint abatement, and also roofing and repairs of all kinds.  We have also developed a speedy and efficient "Lender-required repairs" service that enables homes needing repair to get ready for sale and pass the various FHA and other home inspection requirements. We are also experienced in "compassionate construction" working for a local law firm that administers the special needs of elderly and disabled people.

A brief history: SCS means  "Simon's Construction Services" and was started in California when I passed the examination there for the General Building  license in 1992 in Los Angeles after many years of employment as a Journeyman carpenter building room additions. I believe the study and documented experience required to be a legitimate licensed builder in that earthquake zone there gives us a strong competitive edge in the world of high quality remodeling here in Spokane. We are honored to qualify as Better Business Bureau Accredited Members since 1999.   After coming to Spokane in 1996 I was hired to work on several commercial building projects at Fairchild Air Force Base from '97 to'99  ranging from exterior fascia and soffit installation on the new two story dormitories  to interior cabinets & millwork. I was certified in construction quality management by the U.S. Army corps of engineers in '99. Then in 2000 I was at at Spokane International Airport Installing "Reynobond" Aluminum panels on the exterior of Concourse C for most of that year.   Over the last decade I have completed  hundreds of quality residential remodels & additions, as well as some commercial jobs. With my wife  Janet & our team of employees & subcontractors  we offer everything from architectural design through all the trades to completion of the project.
