            I called ACI to come do some duct work repairs from my remodel. **** showed up and was pleasant, didn't do much work and then didn't ever return. I paid $129 for **** to put caps on two duct pieces. I then decided that I would look into a full new system and a/c unit. I received a quote from ************** While ***** was there he told me they would do my venting for my hood in my kitchen for $500. **** also told me this when he visited. I called several times after receiving my quote to find out the actual financing terms so i could decide which route to take. After 3 unreturned calls, I decided to go with the company that had time to speak with me about my large purchase. Here's the topper...I called today, asked the lady how much it would be for my hood vent to be installed, she said $525, I made it clear that that is all i would need done. She said yes $525 for only that and scheduled me for Monday with ****. I sent home the tech from the other company that was at my home at that moment as i was going to use ACI for this job. I was called back and informed by ***** R, GM, that he doesn't want my job because i didnt buy a full system with them. He was very rude and unprofessional. I advised him that this just cost me $300 as i now have to pay more for the other company to come back. He said "thanks for making me aware of that, but i don't care, we are still not doing your job, you made the choice to go with someone else." The lady at the front desk didn't even want to tell me, she said "my blood is boiling for you as you have been screwed around". ***** did not care one bit that i was told it would be done literally 30 minutes before that. He is a terrible person to have representing your company as he has very poor communication and people skills. He cost me 2 months and $300 and couldn't even simply apologize for the companies miscommunication. I do not feel that their lack of communication should become my problem and cost me time and money.

            First Im a small business owner and like to do good business. I received a email from ******* who sent me a bill for $110.00. I had 3 companies come out for my estimate and went with another company after they really went out of the way to get me in and give me a good price on running new electrical from my box to a 220 outlet about 30 feet. ******* says she is the one who took my call and at first said they were sorry for not being upfront. Then the next email was the complete opposite. If they told me i would have just said ok Ill try somebody else. Now being threatened to be sent to collections for the $110.00 bill. Im sending a check only to not mess up my credit. Just appreciate being done right and honesty and upfront.

            ******************,We apologize for any confusion in our correspondence when you called in about the assessment fee. It is ACIs policy to always quote upfront what any service we provide is so there is no hidden cost. When you had one of our licensed electricians come to your business he came with all the accreditation, licensing & knowledge required to provide a full scope of work and proposal for your project. When we send a professional to a home there is a small cost to do this and if the customer chooses to proceed with the proposal through ACI we wave this fee. If the customer chooses to use another vendor, we understand you have options, but the information provided by our professional, is worth this small assessment fee charged, as he put time and effort into designing the electrical circuit and made sure that your current electrical system could support the added circuit and load on your electrical panel.             All I am saying is to be upfront and say something like we charge $110 dollars for estimate before we send someone out is that ok with you. Thats it. Upfront. PERIOD
