We operate a hotel located in ********. This company was contacted by our insurance agent for public relations due to a shooting that happened at our hotel. A 16 year old boy was killed in the incident. ****, the owner of this company came out immediately to meet with us for one hour. After visiting with her for one hour, she convinced us that we needed her assistance. We mailed in the retainer for ********. The following day, we were advised by our attorney that it was in our best interest not to retain a public relations specialist. We asked **** to return the funds and we are not interested in her services. I have an email from her that all services were rendered and the insurance company is paying me back. She truly took advantage of the system, the insurance company, and profitted off of the death of a 16 year old child. She rendered no more than one - two hours of services to us. She is conducting a dishonest business and I believe her buddies in the insurance company all have their hands in the cookie jar. I need for the money to be returned, I need for an invoice to be created that is fair to submit to the insurance company for reimbursement of her services. This woman is not worthy of $7500.00 for one hour of services and defintely after an email from her claiming "insurance is taking care of it anyways" I will not tolerate theft and this is why I am writing this complaint.
