Additional Notes

Complaint: Excessive Charge-little or no work done. I was charged 338.00 for 2 techs from Plumb Tech to reglue 1 plastic fitting.Twice I approached them and asked if they had found anything major wrong with the system. Both times the answer was no.I told them I had a home warranty with the house and would like to get the furnace fixed. The furnace was making a very loud noise when it started up. The Techs could not tell me what it was. After 2 hrs. and 20 mins. they left never having said anything about the system other than ***** would call me.***** never contacted me. I then get the bill and on the bill it says"this is the worst install job we have ever seen". I feel if they are able to diagnose such a huge problem with their expertise, then surely they could have figured that out immediately or within an hour of looking at the system. Instead they were there for another hour and 20 mins. and never once said anything to me in hat time about the severity of the problem. The response i got in the form of a letter from ***** was terse and unprofessional. Apparently I struck a nerve with him.

Desired Settlement: I would like reimbursed for 115.00. That will leave them with an hour of their time in the house and their drive time.

***** tried calling ONE time at 8:30 in the morning(I work the swing shift) He said he'd call back. HE DID NOT.

I NEVER ONCE said I had low funds. That is an outright lie. I did however mention that I had a FULL HOMEOWNERS WARRANTY from Fannie Mae that COVERS EVERYTHING for the next two years. His techs knew that. His tech never once said sealing the vent was a health issue. NOT ONCE! there was very little communication. ***** shouldn't use the term "we," he never stepped foot in my house. Providing good service should have been his number one priority. He knew I was unhappy with the job, yet he never once came out to the house to see if his tech's might have missed something. Everyone from his company automatically decided the whole systm needed redone. His company got 338.00 for TIME ONLY (minus 13.00 for the seal) Then they tried to get an entire heating job out of me because I have a home warranty and it was completely covered. I am now convinced more than ever that he was trying to scam me. If nothing else, this compnay has horrible customer service.

Business Response:

Here is a copy of the letter responding to her letter, I tried to call and talk to her but it was always a bad time for her.  The whole time we were there she kept mentioning that she has low funds and she cant afford much, so we decided to fix the vent because of future CO2 issues mainly for her health. She also stated that in the end of her letter if we were to adjust our bill then she would be happy to have come back and fix the other issues. I have a copy of her letter if needed. Thanks for your time on this matter.

1. I only charged you for one guy.

2. Travel time to and from was included.

3. There is too much installed wrong to truly fix your situation. It would be cheaper to start over and install the way it should be and it would be more efficient to operate also.

4. 99.9% of Home Inspectors have no idea what a true water heat system should look like and how it works. Most of them are jack of all trades and master of none, especially when it comes to boilers. And I have two good friends that are home inspectors and even they tell me that.

5. There are several plumbing companies out there that also have no idea how to truly install a boiler heat system.

6. I did not get my good reputation by ripping people off.

7. I would be more than happy to keep working for you, only if you want to do things the right way.

Thank you for your time,
