Complaint: on 11/12/2013 at craigs to get repairs done after a auto accident. I was told my car will be completed on 11/15/2013, as my fianc an I showed up on 11/15/13 we noticed the body lines did not match, paint missing on rear bumper that was replaced by craigs, an blemish with the paint on the hatch, all of these problems the body shop got paid to fix an said they would so I had to keep the rental car for a few extra days because of their poor works man ship. they said that the re fixes would be completed by 11/18/13. when the 18th came they said it needed one more day to buff an wax the car, which was not authorized to be completed but was done. at that time on the 18th my fianc looked at the body work to see if the repairs were completed, as he inspected the rear end where the body work was completed by the body shop he seen that the repairs of the repairs was not fixed. the shop said they are done an will not fix the body lines nor the paint blemish on the hatch. upon pick on 11/19/13 my fianc also noticed incomplete work with a crack in the paint on the drivers side quarter panel right next to the body line of the tail light was not repaired, which is damage from the accident.
Desired Settlement: I would at this time like to request for a refund of the damages cost that still need to be fixed or for the shop to make it right and fix these three problems.1.rear end body lines2.paint blemish on hatch3.paint crack on driver side quarter panel at the tail light body line
Business Response: After reviewing our billing to the insurance company, It is noted that no repairs were ever done to the quarter that you are mentioning. If you feel the claim needs to be reopened please call the carrier for this to be done. As to your other request I would like to review these imperfections myself before determining a decision.
BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
