Complaint: ******* ******* a senior citizen, called One Hour heating co. for a cleaning service for his furnace as they were offering a special for cleaning and duct inspection for 59.99The heater was running just fine except for condensation building up in tubes. he would clean them out as necessary but at no time was the furnace not working. He had servicemen come out before to do this and watched themso in the future he could do it himself. ***** ****** also performed this act however he also cleaned out the filter attached to these tubes.About this time he said the "board" needed to be replaced and when ******* asked how much ***** replied 636, sounded like a good price to us so he told him "chris" to do it. We're not experts in this fieldand we took him at his word, no reason not to. Then he gave rich the bill and it was 752.76.At NO time did chris say the board was 636.00. He clearly said 636. What further action can I takeconcerning this matter? Do I contact consumer affairs?
Desired Settlement: he said there was a dark mark on the board but,,, it was working fine, I think he should bring it back and refund for the new board
I called *** ******* and we resolved his complaintm on 2/29/12. If you have any questions please call me at ###-###-####.
