Came in looking to buy a truck. The sells person I dealt with wasn't very knowledgeable. I asked him some basic questions over the phone that he couldn't answer. He said he would check to see and then called me back with wrong information. He could have walked out and looked himself in less than 5 mins and told me exactly what I asked.

The place is a bit of a dump. The cubicle they put me in flooded from the roof leaking. The chairs in the office were uncomfortable. I was offered a bottle of room temp water. There wasn't even coffee made.

The truck I wanted was very specific and they had it in stock, litterally 0 wiggle room on price but I guess that's the market right now. The check engine light, esc light, traction control light and abs light came on while I was test driving the brand new vehicle. They took it back to "fix" it. They ended up just clearing the codes and sending it on it's way. The issue with the truck isn't their fault, but they could have given me a print out of what the issue was so that I could get it fixed. It's under warranty so no big deal.

I did call several dealers within 500miles to see if they had the specific truck that I was looking at. If any other dealer had it, I would have left.

I definitely will never buy from them again or use them for anything. I don't live close, maybe they knew that and that's why I recieved the service I did.

If service is important to anyone reading this, take the extra time and drive to a ****** dealership. They have dealerships in Houston, Dallas, Grapevine and Midland. I have bought several vehicles from ****** and every experience has been top notch. Their service department is also a great to work with. (FYI, I am in no way affiliated with ******* Their customer service, care and experience is just that much better than what I recieved at Yates.)

Bottom line, this place isn't great or even ok. They won this time because they were lucky enough to be the only dealer within 500 miles to have the exact truck I wanted.

Update, after seeing the Carfax that was provided after I purchased the vehicle, they knew about the issue days before I bought it and did not fix it and sold it anyway. Real shady place, do not recommend. I was going to keep everything anonymous but after overturning the shady dealings, everyone should know that Blake ******* was my salesperson.
