    I went to see ****************************** at ****************************** located at ***************************************************************** on the 20th of July, 2023, using my Meridian, ****************** and MTM transportation for my pain management re-evaluation and my neurological issues and cognitive impairment side effects from using anti-convulsants. He refused to examine me physically and neurologically, refused to diagnose or treat me. He got mad at me because I scored 24/30 in the oral memory-test taken by the nurse and said Im not going to prescribe you medications. I dont know what kind of medications he can not prescribe when I score 24/30 in the memory test, as I did NOT specify or ask for any specific kind of medication. I was going there for pain management and neurology that they advertise for, and expecting an overall re-evaluation, diagnosis and treatment- options as they advertise on their website. ************ yelled at me because I have patient history of Depression and Anxiety and have been on anti-depressants and benzodiazepines. He told me that he cant treat me or see me when I have these issues and refused to even listen to my complaints. He humiliated me and made me cry during the 12 minutes he spent with me in the room. It was one of my worst experiences with a health care provider that ******** provide for patients. I am hereby reporting him, as I believe, this attitude should never happen to anyone, else. I have also reported him to another official organizations.

    The Meridian Health care plan has been great for the past 10 years until Aug 2022 when they stopped providing my booked medical transportation rides. I have no personal transportation to my medical appointments, and I have no one else to provide rides. I need chronic care for many ongoing issues. Meridian is using 3rd party ride companies such as Lyft, Uber and ********* that are 2 hours away or more that do not even service my rural area. I told them this yet they continue to book them and no one shows up or the ride is canceled by Meridian. Meridian absolutely refuses to use the ride company they used to use that does service our area. I have filed numerous complaints with their complaint ***** and no one cares. They don't do a thing about it, though they give you a complaint reference number and tell you someone will call you, they never do. There is no supervisor or corporate ladder of anyone else you can speak to, and they make up false names when you attempt to hold the ride booking agent or the company accountable. Your complaint falls on deaf ears and goes into the circular file while the person on the other end laughs (literally) as they take it. I have also complained to the ride dispatch and other agencies which are falling on deaf ears. The company itself tells me I don't get a choice. They don't even listen when I tell them the companies they are booking do not even service my area, and that there is only one that does. One wonders if someone is pocketing the federal funds and getting a kick-back. I am suffering not getting my health needs cared for by not being able to get to my primary care, pharmacy, hospital tests and labs and specialists. My other family members have changed insurances because they are not getting their rides either. We are tired of dealing with them. They are a terrible, uncaring, apathetic company. Unfortunately I have to wait until it is my turn to change. I certainly would not recommend this company to anyone.
