Approximately 5 years ago I hired the Silver tax group to mitigate or remove tax debt owed to the **** After they collected my money I had a hard time contacting them, and now I can't at all. They spent 4 years pulling my master file and filing 4 years of tax returns I didn't have to file as SSDI recipient to get a more accurate picture of what I might owe, which was little to nothing thankfully, but it takes HR block or similar to file that many returns in a week, and those were finally filed in the summer of 2022 by their portal. And now I'm receiving letters from the *** AGAIN for almost 15k more than the original amount because they are taking so long to do ANYTHING with my case. Which I don't know is what, cause last I was able to talk to them, they said they were still filing taxes last year. I don't think it's unreasonable for a lawyer to pick up the line twice a year and provide updates on something as life altering as a now ****** tax debt that I can't pay. At minimum it would be nice to hear occasional updates about my case and not have to fight and struggle to even talk to someone or get a message returned. At most I'd like for them to finally proceed on my case and get SOMETHING done. Thanks.
