Digital Content Manager
Misty Montano is a journalist who uses social technologies and interactive marketing and media to connect with current and potential news consumers. She has taken on the position of Digital Content Manager at 9News in Denver and shouts to all that will listen that, "News is not dying!" At 9NEWS Misty works to integrate social media practices in all areas of the Networks of 9NEWS. She won a Regional Emmy for her work as an Assignment Editor at CBS4 News in Denver where she spent over 10 years on the news desk. As an Assignment Editor she gathered information, assisted news crews, and arranged news coverage while she connecting with the community through social media. She successfully integrated her position on the news desk with social networks and is always looking for that next step, the next Internet tool, to keep relevant as a journalist.
Director of Digital Marketing
As eBags Director of Digital Marketing, Chris oversees all aspects of social, acquisition and retention marketing for eBags.com, one of the largest online sellers of bags and accessories. As one of the first employees of eBags.com, Chris helped build and optimize marketing verticals and was an integral part in growing the organization from $100k in 1999 to over $100MM in global sales by 2007. With more than fifteen years of online strategic marketing, technology and operational expertise, Chris rejoined the eBags.com team in March 2013. Chris has also held management roles for ShopAtHome, RightStart LLC, HomeSphere and MapQuest.
Director of Marketing
As HomeSphere’s Director of Marketing, Heather oversees the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics for BRI®, HomeSphere’s rebate management and demand generation platform. She works directly with the company’s leadership team at corporate headquarters in Lakewood and drive leads to customers ranging from GE Appliances to Lennox HVAC. Heather believes in the importance of creating a “community” internally in order to strengthen a brand. As a results of her community involvement and leadership, she was recently named to the Denver Business Journal’s 2014 40 under 40 class. Prior to joining HomeSphere, Knutson was the senior manager of marketing at ClickBank, a Broomfield, Colo.-based online retail outlet. She previously held marketing positions at onTargetjobs Inc., the leading provider of online niche job boards; Indigio Group, which helped Fortune 1000 companies manage their online channels, for which she was director of marketing; and Budget Truck Rental, where she was manager of marketing and communications.
With nine years of graphic design, web development and marketing experience, Liz Polson nurtures brand awareness for HomeSphere and its BRI platform, the homebuilding industry’s only B2B digital lead generation service. Liz uses her design expertise and technical knowledge to position HomeSphere as a thought leader within the residential construction space. Liz is also a small business owner and entrepreneur – her freelance design agency Mollydooker Studio partners with Denver businesses to develop cohesive branding and a robust online presence. Her current clients include Boulder-based Zia Consulting, a 2012 ‘Colorado Companies to Watch’ winner.
