We sincerely apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced during your recent visit to our facility. We value your feedback and are committed to addressing your concerns in a professional and informative manner.
Regarding your pet's diagnosis of an upper respiratory disease, likely kennel cough, we understand your concerns about the contagious nature of the infection. Our team provided information during the visit, highlighting that kennel cough is highly transmissible and can be present not only in our environment but at parks, daycares, during walks with your pet, or other public dog areas. The mode of transmission involves the inhalation of particles expelled through coughing or sneezing by infected dogs. Much like a human cold, tracing the exact source of the infection can be challenging, as it can originate from various sources, such as neighboring dogs, passersby, cloths on people or surfaces both inside and outside.
Please be assured that we adhere to stringent cleaning protocols and implement isolation measures for any pets suspected of carrying contagious illnesses. We consistently disinfect our premises between patients to prevent the spread of infections. As previously discussed, we promptly refunded the charges associated with the services provided to your dog, including the prescribed medication for the potential kennel cough diagnosis. However, it is important to clarify that our actions do not imply agreement with any allegations made against our facility. We maintain the highest level of professionalism in our interactions with our clients. However, we cannot endorse the behavior, language, or tone you displayed in your interactions with our staff.
