Complaint: Service employee fraud about working hot tub to upsell to new hot tub I called this company to come out to fix a leak on a hot tub. Service rep fixed the leak but notified me after, that the motor and heating mechanism were bad and the repair costs would be close to 1K. He explained the better idea would be to trade in this hot tub and get a new/used one with possibly $500 or more as credit. I called another company, who came out and replaced the motor for $500.00, nothing wrong with the heater and the tub works fine now. I asked for a refund of the $120 service fee charged to my credit card. And received no answer - funny enough the only warning I received from people who had tubs (this is my first) was to watch out for service people who would try to take a workable tub and get you to turn it into a newer tub while they repair and resell your tub.

Desired Settlement: I want my $120 back

Customer stated it was just a question of communication and he was satisfied. We have processed a full refund. Customer stated he would contact the BBB and withdraw the complaint. I checked my credit card and I misread those invoices. There are no other charges associated with you other than the 120. I will contact BBB and remove the complaint and clean it up. Thanks again, ***** ******** Let me know if you find that email. Unfortunately, I sent it through you site and it is not on our mail server. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 11, 2015/03/03) */ Please remove this complaint, business responded appropriately and professionally to the complaint and I would like to withdraw it.
