On 09/13/2016 ,**************** in ********** replaced my original breast implants that were done in ********** in ****. I was in a car accident and they had been ruptured. When I went in for my post op appointment, My left breast was necrotic. Therefore I needed another surgery to remove the dead tissue. because of infection I required two more surgeries. the latter surgery done on the 10/04/2016 the implant on the left side was taken out and I was left with a hole that I had to stuff gauze twice daily and had 2 drains. Prior to my surgery with ****************, I purchased insurance for ****** in the event that something went wrong they would cover up to $25,000.00. I did not want **************** to any more surgeries on me, I did not like his technique and was left devastated . i decided to go to ************** in ****** that I thought was honest and professional, they sent the surgical amount to Bliss which is now Insurance Operations at ******* Partners.They then asked **************** what he would charge , he told them *******. the left and right need to be done as he put the wrong size in and according to ********** report it was done with poor technique. i was very excited to maybe be normal again. the insurance sent ************** a check for the amount of $4,0*****. ********** office told myself and my attorney that they have not received any money from the insurance company. When my attorney showed them a copy of the deposited check, they told my attorney the money was nonrefundable . i have called several times in tears and they tell me that i will have to drive to ****** and pay another ***** to see the Doctor. I have been so frustrated with the dishonesty. i did not intend on getting an attorney, but the implants that were used have been recalled by the **** i then told him about my situation and he spoke with bliss insurance and they were willing to cover more of the expense.
