Complaint Annoying phone calls asking for "updates". This company continually calls our school office asking for updated information. They ask for numbers of enrollment, numbers of employees, and numbers of grades. I have asked them what the purpose is for this information and the constant answer is "we are updating your information" over and over. I have asked where the information goes and it is the same answer, "we are just updating our information." This is very, very irritating!
Desired Settlement Please stop calling and take our name off of the call list.
Business Response Agile Education Marketing works with a variety of companies that supply products to schools and teachers. We'll immediately remove your school from calling. We're sorry for any inconvenience.
Complaint Harrassing phone calls (almost daily) asking for detailed information about our company. I have told them we are not interested in "updating" the info This company continues to call (almost daily) to get information (but say they are "updating" their records) that I'm sure they will sell to vendors. I have asked them to stop calling and have told them when they do call that we have already spoken to someone (often the day before) but they continue to ask questions. I usually just hang up but they continue to call back.
Desired Settlement I would like them to take us off their call list immediately!
Business' Initial Response I have instructed our call center to immediately remove your ECC from our calling efforts. We're sorry for any inconvenience.
Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is the exact response they have given everyone else so it is obviously just a generated response but they clearly continue calling because there are many complaints just like ours. I guess it is just the nature of their business and time will only tell if they will stop calling us. It sounds like they are using a foreign country so are probably paying these people $1 an hour. They are going to continue as long as people give them the information they need to sell to other vendors.
Complaint This company makes harassing phone calls seeking data for a 'directory' that we want no part of. They have been asked to stop and have continued. They call multiple days in a row for weeks at a time. I've asked them to stop and remove us from their calling list. It's been happening for years. We are not interested in 'updating our information for their directory', which seems to be a scam for gathering personal information about our staff.
Desired Settlement We would like them to stop.
Business' Initial Response We will immediately remove your school from our calling efforts. We work with leading education companies to assist in marketing products to schools and educators. We don't gather personal information, only names and job titles to aid in marketing efforts.
We appologize for any inconvenience.
Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Our acceptance of the company's response is conditional on them keeping us off of their call list. If this is done, and we receive no more calls, we will not reopen the complaint.
Complaint Company calls repeatedly every day and will not disclose the nature of their business. They will not stop calling. This company calls everyday to "update their directory". We have repeatedly requested the nature of their business, they refuse to answer and just give the name of the company. We have asked them many times to stop calling and still get phone calls every day.
Desired Settlement no further contact
Business' Initial Response We will immediately remove your school from our calling efforts. Agile Education Marketing maintains a directory of all the schools and administrators in the country and works with education companies to market their products to schools and districts.
We are reviewing our call logs and will make sure that the agent(s) involved are following our procedures for removing schools from calling upon request.
Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Thank you for helping to resolve this issue.
