            In Oct 2020 I got a garage door installed by A1, I had compared prices and got a cheaper quiets from smaller companies for the same type of door for about $700 less. But I decided to go with A1 to have less headache and problems with the door installation or in the future. From the day of installation I had problems. The installer forgot the rubber seal for the bottom of the door so he had to install a temporary one and he said next week they will do it. So next week one of them came with it and when he noticed the door seal, he said it doesn't really need it, and that he will leave the extra rubber seal to us just incase we needed it. He also adjusted the level of the door so it would seal all the way to floor so no leaks of rain will come in. to Summaries: Later we started having problems with the door as it jerks hard to open or close.             Do Not Use this company! They are not up-front about their prices. The Repair Technician did not give any Quote or set any expectation about Cost before starting work. To have a torsion spring replaced cost us $752. No receipt or work order was provided. Compared to other like companies and online estimates, that is $300-$400 more than it should cost. After the work was performed, we had no recourse. (You can't exactly have them un-repair it once it's done.) Felt like we got scammed.

            *******,We are sorry that you felt the need to post a complaint to the BBB even though we resolved this issue with you on the phone that same day. You were not overcharged, You paid for TWO springs, not one, as you stated. We also did Operator Adjustments to your garage door opener at no charge and did a free tune up on your garage door. As you may have noticed in recent months, the cost of everything is more expensive, including garage doors and their parts, which have risen by 50-80% over the past 2 years. We do our absolute best to offer a cost-effective solution to your garage door issues, we have been doing this for nearly 20 years now and have a great name because of it. Your review is misleading and the price you paid was a fair price. We are sorry that we didn't meet your lofty expectations during the visit, but we feel that offering you a discount and a refund was absolutely sufficient.
