            I met *************************** of Landmark Garages on 6/25/2021 at my residence for a quote on building a garage. ******* presenting me with a quote and said that he would need 10% down to "get started". The price quoted was for permitting, ground work (dirt work) and a concrete slab. ON 7/8 I gave ******* a check for $2,430.00 (10%) of the total cost/quote of $24,300.00. After handing him the check he said he would get started and his "concrete guys" would be in touch and we should plan on them starting the week of 7/12. That week came without hearing from *******. I called him the following week on 7/19 to ask for an update. He said his concrete guys are busy but he wanted to meet to markup the area for concrete. I met him on 7/22. I again asked when they would be starting, he said "probobly next week" (week of 7/26) Again, 7/26 came and went with no calls, no show. I spoke to ******* on 7/27 and requested a refund because no deadlines were met, no permits had been pulled, no plans drawn.

            Run don't walk to the nearest exit, this old man is a conn.. He quoted me a price of ********* for a 20X20 Garage. Gave first 10% 10/26/21 ( $2,310.00) for permit, and then 40% 11/6/21 for concrete mono slab $8120.00. After not hearing a thing, and a stranger contacting me letting me know I got took. I looked at the back of my check for concrete company name, and it was different then the one he told me to make the check out to. So I called the concrete company to see what they charge for the forming and pouring of the slab. they told me it was $8.00 dollars a square foot.My math is bad, but I think that's 480 sq ft times $8.00 = ******** for the concrete work. So this man got an extra $4280.00. If so my next question is why didn't the concrete company contact me about the over payment. This is grand theft!!
